Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting good governance and vibrant civil society, is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and hands-on Program Associate (PA) to join a women’s empowerment and gender-based violence educational program at EF. The ideal candidate can effectively collaborate with other team members in program implementation and fulfill program’s administrative needs. The PA is also responsible for supporting the program’s ongoing recruitment process, active communication with course participants, coordinating with consultants and facilitating/co-facilitating program’s gen
der-sensitive educational and awareness raising courses and online trainings.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of program activities such as capacity building courses, workshops, etc.

  • Active contribution to course recruitment.

  • Facilitate or co-facilitate virtual workshops, online courses, and individual sessions in collaboration with course participants and course instructor.

  • Monitor the progress of course implementation towards program outcomes and contribute to revising program’s strategies accordingly as the course facilitator/co-facilitator.

  • Provide substantial support in drafting program’s quarterly and final reports.

  • Provide administrative support for program-related procurements, such as course registration, documentation, accounting, etc.

  • Assist with developing multimedia content for the program website and social media accounts when required.

  • Coordinate with program’s staff and consultants to ensure events, services, and resources are produced and delivers on time.


Bachelor’s degree in international development, social work, women’s studies, management, human rights, legal studies, or other relevant fields.


  • Experience working on gender-based or sexual violence issues is preferred.

  • At least four years of work experience in the relevant role.

  • Experience with social media tools, blogging, content management systems, and E-learning platforms such as WordPress and Moodle is a plus.

  • Experience in educational projects and online training is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • General knowledge about gender-based violence and discrimination.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem solving, risk management and communication skills.

  • Ability to be adaptable; responsive to new information and adjusts plans as needed.

  • Fluency in English and Farsi/Dari and exceptional writing, and research skills is required.
