Full Job Description

Community Manager Overview
We are seeking a full-time, exempt Community Manager, to lead a community of residents and staff in one of our student-centered apartment buildings in Portland. This crucial role assures a supportive environment for our residents/students while overseeing efficient and fiscally responsible operations of the community.

Community Manager Duties

  • Providing leadership, direction, and support to the teams at the community
  • Responsible for positive student engagement and services throughout the life cycle of tenancy
  • Manages and directs day-to-day leasing operations and related accounting
  • Proactively develops and implements new practices and trainings to support a culture of growth

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes, skills, and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or commensurate experience
  • 3-5 years of property management, student housing, or related experience
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing, Equal Housing Opportunity, and Oregon Landlord-Tenant law
  • Great time management
  • Collaborative nature
  • Strong communication skills
