Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)

  • Design and implement a comprehensive fund development plan and budget.
  • In collaboration with the CEO, identify, cultivate, and steward gifts at all levels.
  • Develop prospect strategies and lead the direct cultivation and solicitation of corporate and individual donors for major gifts.
  • Build portfolios of donors for CEO and strategically manage relationships through visits to close major gifts for the Society, the $1 million Capital Campaign, 100th Anniversary Camp Campaign, and other ongoing initiatives.
  • Create donor recognition strategies and timelines including giving societies.
  • Recruit and steward C-Suite community leaders for and provide leadership to the SVdPD Foundation fundraising board.

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in fundraising.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Skilled in creating powerful and compelling written and oral communications for fundraising.
  • CFRE Certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
