Full Job Description

The YMCA of Orange County has openings for Transitional Kinder Teachers in the La Habra area. The Transitional Kinder Teacher is responsible for maintaining a positive controlled environment while meeting the needs of all children. Assist in planning and carrying out a curriculum based upon the needs and interests of preschool aged children. This includes general supervision to ensure safety, assisting with program areas and general maintenance. The hours for this position are Monday 1p-6p and Tuesday to Friday 2p-6p. We are looking for staff to work in the La Habra area as we have several programs in the area.

Hiring Criteria: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education & Certifications: 6 Early Childhood Education units.

Experience & Background: Must be 18 years of age, 6 months experience working with children preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $19.90 per hour
