Meals on Wheels People is an organization founded in and by the community! Over the past 50 years, our nonprofit has helped thousands of older adults in the Portland Metro area keep their independence through weekly meal delivery and social connections. Our culture reflects our five values: integrity, commitment, respect, inclusion, creativity, and TEAMWORK. With over 20 meal delivery centers throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clark counties, our staff and thousands of volunteers ensure that no adult over 60 goes hungry or experiences social isolation.

We also seek a skilled Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team to develop and manage the Meals on Wheels People brand. The Director of Marketing and Communications will integrate effective marketing and communication strategies internally and externally across all functional areas of Meals on Wheels People. They will lead the marketing and communications professionals' strategic vision, direction, and development.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in meeting and exceeding marketing goals in a non-profit setting, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Project Management and demonstrated knowledge of marketing and public relations strategies and programs.
