Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual, to join our nonprofit organization, as a fundraiser.
As a fundraiser, you will play a critical role in securing financial resources to support our mission, and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement fundraising strategies to network with donors, cultivate relationships, and secure financial contributions, from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other potential funding sources.

Responsibilities:
- Develop Fundraising Strategy:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create a comprehensive fundraising strategy, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other grants.
- Conduct research, to stay up-to-date on fundraising trends, and best practices, adapting strategies as needed.
- Donor Engagement and Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and steward relationships with existing and prospective donors.
- Develop and maintain a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, donations, and acknowledgments.
- Create personalized donor communication materials, such as appeal letters, newsletters, and thank-you notes, to foster donor engagement.
- Fundraising Campaigns and Events:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns and events, including online campaigns, annual giving campaigns, and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team, to develop compelling fundraising materials, including brochures.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including venue selection, volunteer management, and post-event evaluation.
- Grant Writing and Proposal Development:
- Research, identify, and apply for grants from foundations, and other funding sources.
- Prepare grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funder guidelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather relevant data and information for grant applications and progress reports.
- Donor Recognition and Stewardship:
- Develop and implement donor recognition strategies, including acknowledgment letters, annual reports, and donor appreciation events.
- Regularly update donors on the impact of their contributions and the organization's progress towards its mission.
- Maintain ongoing communication with donors, providing updates, responding to inquiries, and expressing gratitude for their support.
Some or all of the following.
- Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and event planning.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising materials.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using fundraising software and donor management systems.
- Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and regulations.
- Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
