Purpose Statement/Position Summary: With minimal supervision and independent judgment, the Onboarding Specialist handles the entire post job offer employment process and part of the hiring process for all new hires. Including conducting background checks, scheduling Pre-Employment Physical with Employee Health Services, meeting with new hires to review necessary pre-employment paperwork, submits data entry into PeopleSoft system, and completes employment verification processes in accordance with both Federal and State laws.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5+years of relevant work experience in a coordinator or administrative role. Prefer at least 3 years of previous experience in a high-volume Human Resources office. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of I-9 completion rules and process required.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Pay Scale Information: CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
