In January 2024, the New Hampshire Business Unit (BU) adopted a Strategic Alignment Plan that outlines six priority initiatives for delivering on our global 2030 Goals. These are our Climate Action, Cities of the Merrimack Watershed, Coastal Watershed, Appalachian Lands and Waters, Land Management and Stewardship initiatives, and Be Our Best, our internal initiative designed to build and sustain TNC in NH as a great place to work and to grow as a conservation leader.

The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator will play a critical role in helping The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire meet our ambitious conservation mission by overseeing the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system for our Conservation Team, as well as providing administrative support to our Climate Action and Cities of the Merrimack Watershed Initiatives. This work may include organizing and attending internal and external meetings, maintaining and tracking files, as well as preparing for meetings, including research, preparing briefings for senior leadership, and coordinating logistics across the two Initiatives. The Coordinator will report to, and assists the Deputy State Director with general correspondence and basic administrative support.

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 months to 1-year related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in general program support such as event planning, meeting preparation, data tracking and research or related experience.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets, presentations, and other.

Employment in this position will be contingent upon completion of a Vehicle Use Agreement, which may include a review of the prospective employee's motor vehicle record.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $55,000-$59,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
